Many of us haven’t really had a chance to get out and have some fun or do anything remotely entertaining in the last couple of years.
Although a stroll in a nearby park feels refreshingly good for the soul, London has so much more entertainment on offer! And with restrictions becoming far more relaxed than they were, it’s a great time to explore new places/activities.
If you’re a Londoner like me, you might think you have already been to or at least heard of some of the places on this list, but there are many hidden gems you’ve likely never heard of, so you’ll be happily mistaken!

1. ROLLER NATION

I’ve actually gone to Go Ape before with a few friends and I can tell you that you get an incredible adrenaline rush doing it.
You’ll enjoy cheering on your friends - tackling high rope perils such as the Zigzag Bridge, Stepping Stones, and the Tibetan Bridge surrounded by nature then zip line down to the ground platform to grab some food and drinks afterwards.
6. ABSEIL FROM THE ARCELORMITTAL ORBIT

From the top, you’ll get beautiful views of London’s skyline.

Racing each other through muddy woodlands with steep declines is an adrenaline-pumping activity you won’t forget anytime soon!

17. BACKYARD CINEMA

Backyard Cinema is based in Wandsworth but prides itself on being able to transform venues like candlelit churches and cobbled Camden courtyards into cinematic immersive experiences, each with its own unique features.
In fact, in August 2021, they had a performance of Romeo and Juliet at The Union Chapel complete with a choir!
